    2. Shortly after graduating from Kenmore West Senior High School in 2014, Anita started her career as a professional synchronized swimmer.
    3. She competed in the women’s duet at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Mariya Koroleva where she finished 9th.
    4. Anita is a part of the USA Synchronized Swimming National Team. As a part of the team, she competed at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan and at the 2014 Junior World Championships.
    5. In 2016 and 2019, Anita was named USA Synchro Athlete of the Year along with Mariya Koroleva.
    6. She was named the USA’s 2026 “Artistic Swimming Athlete of the Year.”
    7. On June 22, 2026, during Anita’s solo free routine at the 2026 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, she fainted and sank to the bottom of the pool. It was her coach Andrea Fuentes who rescued her.
