He credited willpower and eating clean for the weight loss. Chad ate around 1400-1600 calories a day. Eating clean lowers your total calorie intake for the day. He was eating , oatmeal, tuna, salads, and chicken.
Chad even complemented the diet with circuit training (including weight training) for 1 and a half hours in a day. Due to this intense routine, he was able to shed 3000 calories a day (while eating 1500 cal a day). He even did jogging for 5 miles at night.
He followed this routine for 3½ weeks due to his strong willpower.

- While Chad was a student, he used to take interest in literature and played football. He played on the position of quarterback and receiver in his team.
