    1. Koz, in his early career, served as a session musician for several bands and also toured with the famous American keyboardist, composer, and record producer Jeff Lorber.
    2. In 1990, Koz decided to pursue his own solo career when he started recording for Capitol Records.
    3. Koz’s debut album is self-titled (Dave Koz) which was released in 1990 and earned him huge praise from a larger audience.
    4. His other albums are Lucky Man (1993), The Dance (1999), and Saxophonic (2003) where Saxophonic was nominated for both Grammy Award and NAACP Image Award.
    5. In 1994, he started hosting the radio show The Dave Koz Radio Show. This program featured the latest music and interviews.
    6. Koz was a bandleader on The Emeril Lagasse Show, which was a weekly talk show.
    7. Later, he hosted the weekly radio show on Sirius-XM Radio Watercolors. The name of the program was The Dave Koz Lounge.
    8. In 1993, he performed Faces of the Heart, which was used by the ABC hit soap General Hospital as their theme song.
    9. In December 2014, Dave started a restaurant and live music venue named Spaghettini & the Dave Koz Lounge located in Beverly Hills, California.
