- Doublelift had stated in an interview that his relationship with his parents was quite strained because they were not very supportive of his dream of being a professional esports player.
- He was associated with several esports teams during his playing career – Counter Logic Gaming (2011-2014), Epik Gamer (2011), unRestricted eSports (2011), Team Curse (2011), Team SoloMid (2015–2017, 2026), and Team Liquid (2018–2026).
