    1. He spent his childhood years in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York.
    2. Fredro Starr formed the hardcore hip hop group, Onyx, in 1988 alongside Sonny Seeza and late Big DS.
    3. As a member of Onyx, he released his debut album, Bacdafucup, on March 30, 1993, via JMJ Records, Rush Associated Labels, and Chaos Recordings. The album was ranked at number #8 in the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at number #17 in the Billboard 200 chart while it was certified “Platinum” by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and “Gold” by Music Canada. The album also won the 1994 Soul Train Music Award in the “Best Rap Album” category.
    4. As a solo artist, Fredro Starr released his first studio album, Firestarr, on February 13, 2001, via Koch Records. It was placed at number #18 in the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at number #76 in the Billboard 200 chart.
    5. Over the years, he has also played a variety of roles in several shows and movies like Sunset Park, Save the Last Dance, Torque, Here Comes the Sun, Method & Red, Moesha, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Dangerous Minds, and Promised Land.
