- He had kickstarted his career as a YouTuber in Michigan. However, he later became part of a group based in Los Angeles that consisted of Chelsea and his friends James Graessle and Joel Arnold. Chelsea has been his co-host for his Dead Meat channel.
- His most popular videos on Practical Folks have included THE LION KING ft. (Drunk Disney #35) that had quickly generated more than 700k views.
- On Dead Meat, James’s most successful and frequent show has been the Kill Count, where he counts the kills of horror movies like Friday the 13th, Scream, Nightmare On Elm Street, Jurassic Park, Predator, Halloween, and Evil Dead.
