- She was cast in Zadruga as an anonymous contestant in November 2017 after her husband cheated on her. This led to her gaining massive support and sympathy from the audience which ultimately helped her emerge as the winner of the show with 55% of the public vote in June the following year.
- Before making it big in the entertainment industry, Kija Kockar worked as an air hostess and has been an employee at Airpink, Air Serbia, and Etihad Airways.
- She was cast as a judge on shows including Pinkove Zvezde: All Talents and Pinkove Zvezdice: All Stars between 2018 and 2019.
