As an actress, she is best known for her role as Alice Pieszecki in the TV series The L Word between 2004 and 2009, and The L Word: Generation Q starting in 2019. As a musician, Leisha is known as one half of the pop duo The Murmurs, later Gush (1991-2004) and as part of the band Uh Huh Her, starting in July 2007.
