Paige is an English retired professional wrestler who is a 2-time (and the youngest) WWE Divas Champion. She was the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion on WWE’s brand NXT, holding the championship for 301 days, and is the only woman to ever hold both Divas and NXT Women’s Championships simultaneously. She ranked No. 1 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated‘s “Female 50” and was named “Diva of the Year” by Rolling Stone in 2014 as well as she received the WWE Year-End Award for “General Manager of the Year” in 2018. Paige Facts
- She wanted to be a zoologist when young. However, she started training in wrestling from a young age and started pursuing a career at the age of 13. Later, she retired at the age of 25 from in-ring competitions of WWE.
- Paige made her wrestling debut in the last-minute decision in 2005 at the age of 13. A wrestler failed to show up in a wrestling show that was run by her father and Paige was asked to take the position. She wrestled under the ring name Britani Knight.
- At the age of 22, she was ranked #1 by the magazine Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
- She had been made a downloadable character in WWE 2K15, a video game in October 2014.
- Paige’s first recorded match was in 2006 when she tagged with her mother Sweet Saraya in a triple threat tag team match for the family’s show, World Association of Wrestling.
