    1. She was named after her paternal grandmother, who in turn was named after Tallulah Falls, Georgia.
    2. In 1944, Tallulah Bankhead co-starred as Constance “Connie” Porter in the survival film Lifeboat and this role won her the New York Film Critics Circle Award in the “Best Actress” category.
    3. She struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction and reportedly smoked 120 cigarettes a day.
