- Yoo Jae-suk has regularly been ranked as the top comedian in South Korea, topping the Gallup (an American analytics and advisory company based in Washington, D.C.) poll conducted for this category from 2005 to 2009; and then for 10 years in a row, since 2012.
- In July 2026, he donated ₩50 million to The International Development Cooperation G-Foundation to provide sanitary products and living expenses to the underprivileged people who suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- In December 2026, he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was forced to cancel all of his schedules in accordance with quarantine agency guidelines. About a week later, it was reported that he had recovered from the infection after completing home treatment.
